Drilling the wall of an ossified cavity to transmit the vascular pedicle of a myocutaneous free flap: case report

A case is presented in which a hole was drilled through the wall of an ossified cavity in the femur to take the pedicle of a myocutaneous free flap to its recipient vessels. This technique provided a successful solution to a difficult clinical problem.
