Abstract
- International audience; Crystalline basement rocks at the surface are both surface water resources and an analogue of deep reservoir used for geothermal exploitation. We present here a geophysical survey realized in the East of France, at an outcrop in a quarry allowing to characterize the transition zone between sediments and basement. We applied electrical resistivity measurements and magnetic resonance soundings and highlighted water-bearing structures in the sandstone and in the basement, showing lateral variations.
