Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of substituting triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) with 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl methacrylate (TFEMA) on water sorption, water solubility, degree of conversion, polymerization shrinkage, fluoride release and flexural strength of bisphenol-A-glycerolate dimethacrylate (Bis-GMA)/TEGDMA/urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA) dental composites. Flexural strength, water sorption and water solubility were measured according to ISO 4049 standard. Degree of conversion was determined by FTIR technique.
