Sous le patronage de Rhizotome : du Couillon au Pantagruélion. Enjeux nomenclaturaux et officinaux des plantes chez Rabelais

L�����tude des blasons du couillon dans le Tiers Livre (chap. XXVI et XXVIII) �� la lumi��re de la discipline des plantes propre aux m��decins (�� Res herbaria ��) et de la bibliographie sur les v��g��taux connue de Rabelais permet d���expliquer en partie la structuration de d��tail et d���ensemble des blasons, par allusion crypt��e aux d���orchid��es dites alors �� couillons �� : l�����tude lexicale de nombreuses ��pith��tes du blason et les allusions �� diff��rentes plantes le montrent tout particuli��rement.
Studying the blazons of the bollocks in the Tiers livre (chap. XXVI and XXVIII) in light of the discipline of plants peculiar to physicians (���Res herbaria���), and of the bibliography on plants known to Rabelais, allows us to explain in part the details and overall structuring found in blazons by cryptic allusion to the orchids then known as ���bollocks���: the lexical study of numerous epithets from blazons and the allusions to various plants show this in particular.
