The Preparation and Planning of Artwork for Book Publication: The Artist's Viewpoint

When becoming involved in the production of artwork for book publications the medical artist must interact and work with publishers through whom authors' instructions are conveyed. Procedures and job titles vary from one publisher to the other and misunderstandings can lead to costly mistakes.
