Estimating perceived image complexity with Multiscale Entropy

The perceived complexity of an image is an image feature that is related to aesthetic pleasure ratings and other subjective visual perceptions. In this study we develop a new computational measure which is largely based on multiscale entropy (MSE) introduced by Costa, Goldberger, and Peng (2002).
