Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate if the Bone UltraSonic Scanner (BUSS) can detect osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. BUSS is an axial transmission multi-frequency ultrasonometer for acquisition of wave propagation profiles along the proximal anterior tibia.
