Abstract
- Department of Pharmaceutics, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University,Varanasi-221 005, India. Manuscript received 22 February 1978, revised 4 July 1978, accepted 6 September 1978. A group of Mannich bases of salicylic acid hydrazide have been prepared utilizing different aliphatic, heterocyclic and aromatic amines. These Mannich bases have been tested for antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum and Fusarium chlamydosporum. The percentage of colony inhibition are measured, and the results of the tests are tabulated.
