Andador de baixo custo para auxílio à mobilidade de animais com deficiência física

Brazil is one of the countries that stands out for the amount of domestic animals that it owns, about 50% of its population lodges one of them. Among this statistic the spotlight is the dogs, which are fundamental in the caregiver’s life. However, caution must be exercised as to the difficulties with which these animals are subjected, such as motor paralysis. One way to alleviate some complications that characterize this clinical case and consequently improve the quality of life of the dogs is the use of adapted walkers. This project aims to develop this assistive technology device, using low cost material, such as PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride).
