Abstract

Extract Lipid pneumonia is caused by the aspiration of oily substances. It may occur in most animals subjected to medication including man (Forbes and Bradley, 1958). Among domesticated animals it is most common in cats and results usually from the administration of liquid paraffin or cod liver oil (Jubb and Kennedy, 1963).
