Preparation of some C 19 steroid-protein conjugates

17-Carboxymethoximino derivatives of DHA (1), androsterone and etiocholanolone, as well as the 7-carboxymethoximino derivatives of 3β-hydroxy-androst-5-ene-7,17-dione and 7-keto-androst-5-ene-3β, 17β-diol have been prepared and conjugated to BSA for use in producing antisera to the corresponding C 19 steroids.
