Les manuscrits récents du livre I et l'Epitomè des Antiquités Romaines de Denys d'Halicarnasse

The entire text of the Book 1 of the Antiquitates Romanae by Dionysius of Halicarnassus is to be found in ten Creek manuscripts. Funthemore, we have four other manuscripts presenting only fragments, and an Epitome, written during the Byzantine period. The author, who has elsewhere studied the relationship between the two oldest manuscripts (tenth and eleventh centuries), the Chisianus R VIII 60 (A) and the Urbinas gr. 105 (B), describes here all the other documents (recentiores from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries) and presents a complete and original stemma.
