Abstract

Formaldehyde (HCHO) is a well known carcinogen. While most studies investigate emission from wood-based materials, knowledge about releasing of HCHO by natural gas combustion is quite limited. This study conducted field measurements in 9 households to address this issue. We found that emission factor is mainly in the range of 50-200 mg_HCHO/m
