Schizophthirus sicistae Blagoveshtchensky, 1965 Ex Sicista subtilis (Pallas) (southern birch mouse) (Dipodidae); unspecified collection locality (Sosnina et al., 1984; Durden and Musser, 1994). Notes: Schizophthirus sicistae is known to parasitize S. subtilis and Sicista betulina Pallas (northern birch mouse) in parts of Europe and Asia (Blagoveshtchensky, 1965; Sosnina et al., 1984; Durden and Musser, 1994).
