BACKGROUND The current trend in the management of low risk differentiated thyroid carcinoma is to follow less aggressive strategies. OBJECTIVE To assess the long-term morbidity and mortality outcomes of low-risk papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) patients undergoing minimal intervention.
