Mid-infrared spectral compression of parabolic pulses in a chalcogenide ridge waveguide

Abstract
- We design a dispersion-engineered chalcogenide (AS 2 S 3 )ridge waveguide to achieve the mid-infrared spectral compression of chirped parabolic pulses. Simulation results show that the compression factor can be up to 27 in a 6.6-mm long waveguide.
