Abstract
- The liver scan is a significant aid to clinical diagnosis. The value of liver scanning is greatly enhanced when abnormal findings are rechecked with additional scanning at intervals determined by the individual situation. Sequential liver scans have been particularly useful in evaluating the response to therapy of neoplastic disease metastatic to the liver and of liver abscess.
