Abstract
- The authors describe three children who developed excess overhanging upper eyelid tissue following unilateral levator resection for congenital ptosis. This was thought to be pre-aponeurotic fat herniation. A second procedure, a variation of sulcoplasty, was performed at a mean 4.3 months later and all three children showed improved sulcus and crease symmetry.
