Abstract
- Countertransport experiments on rings of everted jejunum of rats suggest that thiamine is actively transported by a mobile carrier in intestinal epithelial cells and that pyrithiamine, but not oxythiamine or deshydroxythiamine, has the common carrier with thiamine.
