Abstract

The Spiral facility will offer in the near future, a unique possibility to investigate nuclear structure far from stability. One of the major instruments for these investigations is EXOGAM: a new compact, highly efficient, highly segmented Ge-array. The design and the expected performances of the array as well as the planning and the status of the project are presented.
