Abstract
- In conclusion, our results point out the importance of the vasodepressor reflex in patients with carotid sinus syndrome; it is present in most patients including those categorized as affected by the dominant cardioinhibitory form. The mechanism of vasodepression is complex, including a hemodynamic effect and suppression of sympathetic compensatory outflow.
