Abstract
- Our study indicates that (1) the biplane TEE probe provides an accurate assessment of the surgical repair of ToF in infants and children; (2) the longitudinal plane especially offers important information showing right ventricular outflow tract anatomy that cannot be fully defined using conventional transverse plane TEE; and (3) implementation of steerable CW Doppier aids quantification of residual right ventricular outflow tract obstruction, especially when implemented from transgastric views.
