ERİŞKİN ERKEK RATLARDA TOTAL VÜCUT GAMA RADYASYONU UYGULAMASININ PLAZMA LİPİD PROFİLİ ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ

SUMMARY 'Effects of Whole-Body Gamma-lrradiation on Plasma Lipid Profiles in Adult Male Rats' In this study, the changes in plasma lipid profiles related with ionizing irradiation were investigated. For this purpose, adult male rats in experimental group were exposed to gamma-radiation (single external 5-Gy dose). Sham-exposed rats were subjected to the identical manipulation procedure vvithout irradiation. Before and 10 days after the exposures, levels of plasma total cholesterol, total lipid, triglycerides, VLDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol were determined. The differences between initial parameters of both groups were not significant. At the 10 day after the sham-exposure, lipid profiles were not significantly different from the initial values of
