TRATAMENTO DE FIBROADENOMA EM MEDICINA CHINESA - ESTUDO DE CASO

RESUMO O presente artigo tem como objetivo dar a conhecer o sucesso do tratamento de um caso de fibroadenoma com recurso a acupunctura, fitoterapia e dietética. Foi seguido o caso de uma paciente de 30 anos que apresentava vários nódulos de diferentes tamanhos, tendo os maiores uma dimensão de 3,6cm e 1,6cm. Os estudos imagiológicos diagnosticaram os nódulos como fibroadenoma. A paciente foi sujeita a 54 tratamentos de acupunctura, acompanhados da toma de fitoterapia e aconselhamento alimentar, sem recurso a qualquer outra medicação ou cirurgia. No final dos primeiros 48 tratamentos, o novo estudo ecográfico revelou a redução dos nódulos para 9mm e 7mm. Foram depois realizados mais 6 tratamentos com frequência mensal, após os quais a paciente obteve alta médica com redução total dos nódulos. ABSTRACT The aim of this article is to show the successful treatment in a fibro adenoma case involving acupuncture, herbal medicine and dietetics. The case treated was the one of a 30 year-old patient with several different size nodules (the bigger nodules were 3,6 and 1,6 cm). Imaging studies diagnosed the nodules as a fibro adenoma. The patient underwent 54 treatments involving acupuncture, herbal medicine and dietetics counseling, without the use of any other medicines or surgery. After the first 48 treatments, a new ultrasound study revealed the nodules had reduced to 9 and 7 mm respectively. Further 6 monthly treatments were done, after which the patient was released with total reduction of the nodules.
