Abstract
- A new design of dual circular polarizer is presented in this paper. This innovative design converts radiofrequency (rf) energy from TE10 mode in a rectangular waveguide to two polarized TE11 modes in a circular waveguide. A reflection less than $\ensuremath{-}20\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{db}$ is achieved and breakdown field is less than $42\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{MV}/\mathrm{m}$ at input of 1 MW. Meanwhile, this polarizer has a megahertz bandwidth, and the thermal stability is also discussed. This device can be used for broadcasting and receiving the circular polarized signals.
