Abstract
- Two cases are reported showing development of deformities identical with rickets in patients with ureterosigmoidostomies.The basic mechanism involved is believed to be hyperchloremic acidosis.The condition was ameliorated under alkali therapy and substitution of ureteroileostomy for ureterosigmoidostomy.
