Abstract

Gas outflowing from the AGN power source is most likely responsible of the complex interplay between the nuclear engine and the host galaxy properties, which is commonly referred to asfeedback.Winds propagating at Galactic scales represent a crucial diagnostic of AGN feedback. Both numerical simulations and observations have shown that the nature of outflows in AGN is multiphase, and that each gas phase embeds a fundamental piece of information on the driving mechanism and on the effect on the host galaxy. I will review the progresses obtained in the past 2 years to shed light on the presence of AGN/Quasar winds, on the characterisation of their physical properties, and on the multi-phase and multi-scale nature of such phenomena.&nbsp
