Une voix protéiforme et polymorphe

Andr�� Salmon has explored manyfold forms of writing over the span of an extremely long career, extending from the turn of the century ��� he started as a poet in 1903 ��� up to the post-WW II years. Salmon���s oeuvre encompasses poetry and prose writing, reaches out to theatre, memoir and art criticism, while embracing journalism in general. His polyphonic work deserves its place in the context of international modernism, especially when reconsidered in the light of recent archival research and the discovery of new documents.
