Boaventura de Sousa Santos: reduction from dispersión to order in the 'ecology of knowledges'

The initial books by BSS referred to “posmodernity” as critical situation of knowkedge; he abandoned that notion later, one problemathic notion, because BSS never assumed loss of transformative will power that posmodernity imvolves. In contemporary texts from this author, ecollogy of knowledges has centrality. It implies dialogue between many different regimes of congnitive legitimation. It´s problemathic that BSS doesn´t assume political and theorical consequences of cathegory “incommensuraty”, because dialogue results inevitably inconclusive and equivocal, no sufficient for colective action coordination. &nbsp
