Update on tolterodine extended-release for treatment of overactive bladder

First-line therapy often includes pharmacotherapy with antimuscarinic medications, and numerous research studies have demonstrated that tolterodine extended-release (ER) is an efficacious and tolerable formulation of this class of medication.
