Abstract
- There is a good positive correlation between relative body weight and the concentration of triglycerides in plasma of normal persons and well-controlled diabetics. Whereas in normal persons an overweight of 10 Kg. is linked with an increase of 8 mg. per cent triglycerides, in tolbutamide-treated patients the corresponding increase is 28 mg. per cent and in insulin-treated patients 39 mg. per cent.
