Abstract
- A population at risk for a certain disease is usually the target population to consider for detection and prevention. Predicting the occurrence of the disease depends of the importance of genes in its transmission, along with the various environmental factors favouring its occurrence. In the case of hypertension, the various epidemiological aspects must be considered which affect normal blood pressure and hypertension, either primary or secondary.
