Communicational hegemony and the public radio in Venezuela: A Case study: YVKE Mundial

[Resumen] Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación de campo en la cual se determinó el comportamiento de la radio Yvke Mundial en su plataforma web y en su cuenta en la red social Twitter, durante la validación de firmas para activar el Referendo Revocatorio contra Nicolás Maduro, evento este que duró cinco días. La investigación tuvo como punto de partida, la realización de un monitoreo al medio en el marco de la Hegemonía Comunicacional, entendiendo que el Estado Venezolano a través de sus voceros ha declarado que esta es su estrategia comunicacional. Asimismo, se tomó en consideración el concepto de radiodifusión de servicio público y el avance que brindan las herramientas de la Tecnología de la Información y Comunicación para hacer de la comunicación un espacio más democrático y participativo. Se concluyó que la emisora en la red fortaleció la Hegemonía Comunicacional sin obtener respuesta de los usuarios pues los comentarios y artículos compartidos son casi inexistentes por lo que se deduce que Yvke Mundial sobrevive entre la superabundancia de información presente en Internet, a través de la cual, los usuarios encuentran un mayor equilibrio informativo y pluralidad de criterios. [Abstract] This article presents the results of a field investigation in which was determined YVKE Mundial behavior in its web platform and its account in the social network Twitter, during the validation of signatures to activate the Revocary Referendum against President Nicolas Maduro, this event took place for five days. The research it had the realization of a monitoring to the environment within the framework of the Communication Hegemony, understanding that the Venezuelan State across his spokesmen has declared that this one is his communication strategy. It also takes into account the concept of public service broadcasting and the progress made by means of Information Technology and Communication to make communication will be a more democratic and participatory space. It was concluded that the broadcaster in the network strengthened the Communication Hegemony without obtaining a response from the users, since the comments and articles are almost non-existent, which means that YVKE Mundial survives among the superabundance of information on the Internet, through which , Users find a greater informational balance and plurality of criteria
