Abstract

Background The aim of the present study was to investigate the clinical impact of prediabetes on the development of incident chronic kidney disease (CKD) in a Korean adult population, using data from the Korea Genome and Epidemiology Study. Methods This prospective cohort study included 7728 Korean adults without baseline CKD and type 2 diabetes.
