Abstract

A quantitative theory giving a unified view of certain laser applications was developed. This theory distinguishes two regimes in the Oxygen Assisted Laser Cutting Process (OALCP): laser alone and laser + oxygen reaction. Further experimental evidence, which supports the theory, was obtained by means of polarized laser radiation.A quantitative theory giving a unified view of certain laser applications was developed.
