Recent developments in photonic crystal fibres

Recent PCF developments include optoacoustic high harmonic mode-locking of fibre lasers, twist-induced guidance in coreless PCF, “swimming” microparticle lasers in liquid-filled PCF and ultrashort wavelength-tunable DUV and VUV pulses from gas-filled hollow-core PCF.
