Abstract

In this paper, we have presented a wideband and high gain fractal antenna operating at 39 GHz for 5G communication systems. The antenna is designed on a Rogers RT/duroid 5880 with compact size of 15 mm × 15 mm × 0.79 mm. The results of the proposed antenna with advantages of low profile, broad bandwidth, high radiation gain and efficiency, simple design and easy of manufacture, and cost effective make it a latent candidate for 5G millimeter-waves applications.
