Abstract
- In this paper, a novel microstrip triplexer is designed by using meandered dual-mode loop resonators. Proposed resonators are coupled to input and output ports by means of lumped capacitors in order to simplify the coupling paths. Thus, feedlines for the input and three output ports are not required. Center frequencies of channels can be controlled depending on the electrical lengths of the resonators. The designed triplexer has three channels at 2.5 GHz, 2.8 GHz and 3.5 GHz and it has also been fabricated and measured to validate the proposed approach. Measurements are in a good agreement with the simulations. Insertion losses have been obtained as better than 3 dB at three channels and isolations between the output ports have been observed as better than 20 dB. © 2017 IEEE.
