This international consensus statement is the collaborative effort of three medical societies representing electrophysiology in North America, Europe, and Asian-Pacific area: the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), and the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society.
