- Supramolecular hydrogels based on peptide amphiphiles (PAs) are promising materials for tissue engineering and model extracellular matrixes for biological studies. While PA hydrogels are conventionally formed via electrostatic screening, new hydrogelation mechanisms might help to improve the design and functionality of these materials.
