Abstract
- usc Postprandial hypotension occurs frequently in diabetes. We show in 9 type 2 patients, that the fall in systolic blood pressure is greater in response to intraduodenal glucose infused at 4 kcal/min than 2 kcal/min, implying that strategies to slow gastric emptying may be effective in the management of postprandial hypotension.
