Hysteresis behaviors of a spin-1 anisotropic Heisenberg model

Abstract
- The hysteresis behaviors of anisotropic S-1 Heisenberg model have been studied within the effective field theory with two spin cluster. After giving the phase diagrams, the effect of the crystal field and anisotropy in the exchange interaction on the hysteresis loops has been determined. One important finding is the observation of double hysteresis loops in the low temperature and negative crystal field region. Double hysteresis loops disappear as the exchange anisotropy decreases. This behavior has been investigated carefully and physical explanation has also been given briefly. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
