Abstract
- Soluble esterase isozymes from Raillietina tetragona were separated in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, which revealed the presence of at least four fractions, possibly representing different esterases. The differences in the inhibitory effect of various chemicals on these fractions reveal them to be four types of esterases, namely: arylesterase, carboxylesterase, acetylesterase and cholinesterase.
