Abstract: This document describes the basic design of the SunDial (rotary Fresnel collector of ASTEP concept)for the AcelorMittal Tubular Products plant user-case, as well as the methodology used. The plant is located in Iasi, Romania, and the requirement of the industry is a heating demand up to 230 °C for preheating the tubes before applying a coating.
