Smoking behavior intervention based on implicit approach: a pilot study in Indonesia

The purpose of the present pilot research was to measure and develop intervention for smoking behavior in Indonesian population. First step is measuring a attentional bias using Smoking Stroop Task in Indonesian language to prove that smoking addiction is because of strong implicit association that we got from comparison between smokers and non-smokers in Indonesia. Second step of this pilot study was to develop and applied implicit intervention using re-training Approach-Avoidance Task (AAT) as an intervention to shape smoking-avoidance behavior in experimental setting.
