Abstract: To the Editor: Early and strong platelet inhibition is highly desirable in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Ticagrelor, which has direct action on the P2Y12 receptor and no need for previous metabolic
