Abstract

The rate of cesarean delivery was higher in patients with a fetus in cephalic presentation after a successful external cephalic version (ECV) [1,2]. However, other studies do not support those results [3,4]. This controversy is most likely the result of the heterogeneity of the study population. The aim of the present study was to evaluate whether patients who had undergone successful ECV at term were at a higher risk of cesarean section in Japanese population.
