Abstract

In the article the authors consider the topical issue, increasing the service life of the internal combustion engine of weapons and military equipment under the condition of using an electromechanical system of their lubrication. The detailed analysis and theoretical calculation of forces that occur in the crank mechanism of the engine are carried out, graphical dependencies of the effect of these forces on the bearings of a crankshaft of the power plant of the vehicle result. The relationship between the magnitude of the load due to the combustion process of the fuel mixture and the thickness of the oil film on the surface of the main and connecting rod bearings of the engine crankshaft described. The causes and consequences of “oil starvation” of the working surfaces of the internal combustion engine are given. An analytical analysis of the process of supplying engine oil to the crankshaft bearings of the engine. An approximation dependence proposed which makes it possible to determine the force of the load on the crankshaft bearings depending on the speed of the crank in real time. The authors created a mathematical model of the optimal mode of lubrication of the internal combustion engine, which takes into account the full range of parameters that affect the process of supplying engine oil to engine parts, namely: engine oil temperature, engine crankshaft speed, engine oil pressure and external load factor. Due to the conditions of movement of the sample of military equipment. Comparative analysis between the electromechanical lubrication system and the mechanical lubrication system (classical), the advantages of using the electromechanical principle of lubrication of working parts during engine operation under maximum load. A rupture characteristic shown which shows the nonlinear nature of the process of supplying motor mass to engine parts. The authors disclose a method for estimating the service life of the power plant from the parameter of the coefficient of friction, which depends on the thickness of the oil film.
