Abstract: Botulinum toxin and nerve stimulation are viable options for overactive bladder refractory to pharmacotherapy. Treatment choice depends on multiple factors including associated symptoms, bladder function, and health economics. Decision-making should be individualised to the particular situation taking into account patient preference.
