Template synthesis of chromium(III), cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and cadmium(II) complexes with a tetradentate Schiff base, glyoxilidene-his-2-aminoethylpyridine

An octahedral geometry has been proposed for the CrIII and NiII complexes and tetrahedral geometry for the rest of the compounds.&nbsp
